Become essential support — you help share the workload: organizing events, school outreach, flag ceremonies, hospital visits, and more. Your hands and ideas mean the difference between doing less and doing more.
Extend the mission — when veterans grow older or step back from active roles, the Auxiliary keeps the spirit alive. You help carry on their legacy, ensuring the Post stays relevant, active, and connected.
Make tangible impact — your contributions help fund scholarships, assist veterans in crisis, run programs like Patriotic education and community service, and support local ceremonies.
Grow—and belong—to something bigger — meet other Auxiliary members, build friendships, learn new skills in leadership, event planning, advocacy, fundraising, and public speaking.
Honor service in your family — Joining the Auxiliary lets you carry forward their service in a meaningful way.
Becoming a member is simple:
Bring a copy of your family member's DD-214 or other proof of qualifying service.
Stop by Post 2498 to fill out an application and meet our members (1st Thursday of any month at 6:00 PM) — we’ll walk you through the process*.
