• Capacity & Layout Freedom: Accommodates up to 180 guests. Choose from round tables (8–10 people each), long rectangular tables for food service or alternate seating arrangements, or 32" cocktail/high-top tables for guest mingling. Tables Available:

• Full-Service Bar: Let our professional bartenders take care of the bar while you enjoy your event. If you choose to have the bar open, Post bartenders are required. You can choose a cash bar, open bar, or hybrid bar to best suit your event and budget.

• Full Kitchen & Catering Support: A large full kitchen is available for your caterer —or for you to prep, cook, and serve.

• Entertainment-Ready Venue: Dance floor, stage, disco ball, upgraded sound system, microphone, and podium — everything you need for toasts, speeches, performances, or a DJ. Free Wi-Fi is available. 

• Event Enhancement Package Upgrades: Take your event up a notch with our enhancement packages. Our Uplighting Package includes up to 14 uplights to add ambiance and a dramatic touch to your event. Our Table Lamp Package includes up to 10 table lamps to add warmth and elegance to your tables. Both packages are available for an additional fee.

• Add the Pub Room To Your Rental* — a separate public bar area featuring three TVs with cable (tuned to sports or whatever you want) plus a pool table. A great option for guests who want additional space to have fun, relax, watch the games, or play pool. Pub Room is available for an added hourly fee. * Pub Room is not available for all functions or times. Ask the function manager about availability. 
• Accessible & Convenient:  Full ADA/Wheelchair access. Just steps from public transportation (MBTA commuter rail and Bus 59 across the street), Ample Parking.  

• Top-Notch Staff Available: Experienced bartenders, event staff, and A/V support are ready to make sure your event flows smoothly.

• Tablecloth Options:The Post offers white 3-ply tablecloths (2-ply paper with a plastic backing) for $6 per table, available for both round and rectangular tables. These provide a clean, simple, and convenient option for your event. For a more formal look, renters may wish to obtain cloth tablecloths through their caterer, Taylor Rental, or retailers such as Amazon. We recommend the Post's paper tablecloths for the rectangular food-service tables.

Rental Process & How to Book

1. Check availability — Email us at vfwfunction2498@gmail.com with your preferred date(s)/Times, and event type. Be sure to include an estimated number of guests, and if you will want bar service. Also let us know if you are a member of the Post, or a veteran.  

2. Visit the hall (optional but recommended) — Come by and tour the space in person, see layouts, and get ideas.

3. Submit a deposit & contract — Once you decide, we’ll ask you to sign an agreement and reserve your date with a deposit.

4. Plan final details — At an agreed upon time prior to your event, we’ll finalize table layout, bar options, kitchen plans, and staffing.

5. Event day & support — Our staff will be there to assist, make sure everything runs smoothly.
